Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Tonight we covered basic stances, Sabaki movement, and one self defence. I love this format because everyone feels involved and you can do it regardless of your grade. When we move in a stance by running our hips along an invisible line and resisting the temptation to bob our heads we use our core. Its centred movement, and is focussed in the middle of the body. This is where true health and power reside. So first with stances we moved with the core in mind.
